Pete van Overwalle brings more than 35 years of professional experience in leadership, talent development, organizational effectiveness, commercial strategy, and change leadership. His career spans multiple industries, including hospitality, life sciences, diagnostics, and professional services, with experience serving both mid-sized organizations and large, complex global enterprises.
Throughout his career, Pete has led high-impact initiatives designed to strengthen organizational performance through people-centered strategies. His work has included leadership development, talent strategy, employee engagement, process improvement, commercial effectiveness, and organizational change. As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, he has led dozens of business improvement efforts focused on increasing efficiency, reducing complexity, and enhancing both employee and customer experiences. He also brings extensive experience working across global, matrixed environments, partnering effectively across functions, cultures, and time zones to support growth and transformation.

His work is grounded in a strong commitment to adaptability, leadership capacity, and sustainable performance with a focus on change leadership and innovation. Pete holds a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from St. Bonaventure University. He is also deeply committed to the professional and civic communities he serves. He has held multiple volunteer leadership roles within the Association for Talent Development Central Indiana Chapter, including committee member, board member, and currently President. In addition, he supports philanthropic efforts through the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter.
